PTSC’s Jingle Competition – “Remembering History while moving forward with PTSC.”

• Eligibility:

  1. Open to ages 10 and over.
  2. Persons under 18 must have permission from their parents to enter.

• Entry Requirements:

  1. Each participant can submit only one entry.
  2. The jingle must be original and not contain any copyrighted material.
  3. Duration of the jingle must be no more than 45 seconds.
  4. The jingle must be submitted in a specified MP3 audio format via email or on our social media pages.
  5. Deadline for submission is 30th September, 2024.

• Submission Guidelines:

  1. Participants must submit entries to our email at PTSC-Communications@ptsc.gov.tt or on PTSC’s social media platforms.
  2. A clear naming format for the file (e.g., “ParticipantName_Jingle.mp3”).
  3. Accompanying text explaining the concept or inspiration behind the jingle (required).

• Judging Criteria:

  1. Originality and creativity.
  2. Relevance to the brand/product/theme.
  3. Marketability or how well it conveys the desired message.

• Judging Process:

  1. Entries will be reviewed by a panel of judges.
  2. The decision of the judges is final and cannot be contested.
  3. Judges may request additional information or clarifications from participants.
  4. Winners will be announced on Friday 18th October, 2024.

• Prizes:

  1. Winners will receive a free Chartered service (for 45 persons) to a destination the bus can access.
  2. The prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable.
  3. Copyright and Ownership
  • By submitting, participants agree that their jingle may be used by the organizer for promotional purposes.
  1. Use of Personal Information
  • By submitting, the participant agrees that the Participant’s name, likeness, and submission may be used in promotional materials.
  1. Disqualification
  • Submissions that do not meet the eligibility or entry requirements may be disqualified.
  • Any form of plagiarism will result in immediate disqualification.

  • The organizer reserves the right to modify or cancel the competition without prior notice.
  • The organizer is not responsible for technical issues (e.g., failed submissions due to technical errors).
  • Participation in the competition implies acceptance of all terms and conditions.
