Theme: “PTSC – Driving Change with Clean Energy”
Overview
- The PTSC School Art Competition invites students across Trinidad and Tobago to showcase their creativity and vision for a cleaner, greener future.
- The theme focuses on how PTSC’s partial shift to electric buses and sustainable mobility connects communities and supports environmental responsibility.
- The competition aims to promote youth expression, innovation, and national pride through art.
Eligibility
- Open to primary, secondary, and tertiary students.
- Also open to participants from:
- Vocational and special education schools
- PTSC’s Community Zone (Sealots & environs)
- Students may submit entries individually or on behalf of their schools.
Artwork Requirements
- Mediums accepted: Hand-drawn (pencil, charcoal, pastel, paint, mixed media) or digital illustration.
- Artwork size: 12 in × 12 in.
- Digital submissions:
- Accepted formats: .PNG or .TIFF
- Resolution: 1200 dpi
- Colour mode: RGB, accurate colour representation
- Image must be clean, evenly lit, and free of glare or shadows.
- Physical submissions: Must be neatly presented on sturdy backing (e.g., bristol board, canvas board).

Categories & Prizes
Five individual categories:
- Primary
- Secondary
- Tertiary
- Vocational/Special Education Schools
- Community Zone (Sealots & Environs)
Prizes include:
- 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards in each category
- Winners receive book vouchers, art supplies, and electronic vouchers
- Schools of 1st place winners will also receive special prizes to support their art programmes
Display & Recognition
- Winning artworks will be printed and displayed on PTSC’s framed wall along the Beetham Highway.
- Selected entries will also be featured on PTSC’s digital platforms and social media channels.
Judging Criteria
Entries will be evaluated based on:
- Creativity and originality
- Relevance to the theme “Driving Change with Clean Energy”
- Artistic technique and execution
- Presentation and overall visual impact
- Message clarity and environmental awareness
