LEGAL ASSISTANT

The Legal Assistant performs varied and complex legal assignments, both routine and non-routine, requiring evaluation, originality and ingenuity in providing assistance to the Office of the Corporate Secretary in the execution of the corporate secretarial function.

SUB – COMMITTEE COORDINATOR

The Sub-Committee Coordinator manages the operations and administration of a sub-committee, ensuring efficient planning, execution, and follow-up of its activities. The role supports the Chairperson and committee members in achieving objectives, maintaining records, and facilitating communication.

SECURITY OFFICER – INVESTIGATOR- TWO (2) POSITIONS

The Security Officer – Investigator supports the PTSC’s Security Department in ensuring the safety of employees, passengers, assets, depots, and fleet operations. The officer conducts investigations into incidents affecting the Corporation, provides detailed reporting, and assists in maintaining a secure transportation environment.

LEGAL OFFICER II

The Legal Officer II performs advanced legal work, provides specialized legal advice, and manages moderately complex legal matters with a greater degree of independence than a Legal Officer I. This position is responsible for drafting and reviewing complex legal documents, managing litigation files, advising on statutory and regulatory obligations, and supporting the Corporation’s governance and compliance functions. Work is performed under limited supervision and may involve guiding or reviewing the work of junior legal staff.

ASSISTANT DEPUTY GENERAL MANAGER- TOBAGO

The Tobago Division of the Corporation aims to provide a seamless experience for customers and employees in Tobago. ADGM – Tobago leads this satellite operation of the PTSC, with hybrid departments which carry responsibility for managing and executing the functions of the Corporation across Tobago. The Division is uniquely set up as a scaled model of the Corporation which facilitates representatives with responsibility across all functional areas reporting into the Division leadership.

Reporting to the General Manager, the position is responsible for planning, directing and monitoring the functions of the Corporation’s Tobago Division, supporting the execution of strategic and operational objectives.

To manage the execution and oversight of these functions, the ADGM – Tobago is supported by Managers with specialised focus on either operational functions (such as Operations,  Engineering and Customer Experience) or related business administration functions (such as Facilities and Capital Projects, HR, Finance, etc.).

CHIEF PROCUREMENT OFFICER

The role of the Chief Procurement Officer is to provide leadership and strategic direction to the Procurement Department. The incumbent is expected to maintain and adhere to the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Property Act 2015 (and any other applicable legislation and regulations), as well as the Public Transport Service Corporation – approved Procurement Policy and Procedures.

PROCUREMENT AND LOGISTICS MANAGER

The Purchasing & Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing the procurement of raw
materials, packaging supplies, equipment spare parts, and other necessary resources. This role
involves developing and maintaining procurement plans, negotiating contracts with suppliers and
managing inbound and outbound logistics. The manager ensures timely and cost-effective
sourcing while adhering to regulatory requirements and maintaining optimal inventory levels.
Additionally, the role includes supervising procurement and logistics staff, fostering supplier
relationships, and ensuring compliance in accordance with the Public Procurement and
Disposal of Public Property Act, 2015 and internal governance frameworks. The incumbent
will ensure that all procurement and disposal activities are conducted.

CONTROL ROOM OPERATORS (CCTV & GPS) THREE (3) POSITIONS

The incumbent is mainly responsible for operating, monitoring and maintaining surveillance and
vehicular tracking equipment, viewing both live and recorded video surveillance footage,
reporting incidents or suspicious behaviour, and contacting the relevant authorities when
necessary.

LEGAL OFFICER I

The Legal Officer I provides legal support, advice, and research to the organization to ensure compliance with applicable laws, policies, and regulations. This entry-level professional role assists senior legal staff in preparing legal documents, reviewing contracts, managing legal correspondence, and supporting litigation and regulatory matters. Work is performed with guidance and reviewed by a Legal Officer II, or the Manager Legal Services.

FLEET MAINTENANCE COORDINATOR

The individual will supervise and plan, at the tactical level, all workshop activities within the Corporation’s Fleet Maintenance Department, inclusive of first line activities, planned maintenance activities, custodial services, and repairs of vehicles, painting and bodywork activities.
