MANAGER FINANCE & ACCOUNTS
The Manager, Finance and Accounts is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating and executing the financial and accounting functions of the Public Transport Service Corporation (PTSC). The incumbent ensures the efficient management of financial resources, preparation of accurate financial reports, maintenance of sound internal controls and compliance with statutory and corporate financial requirements. The position also provides strategic financial guidance to support the Corporation’s operational and organizational objectives.
ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT
Assists in the preparation and maintenance of the Corporation’s accounts. Work involves the maintenance of monthly income and expenditure accounts and the preparation of monthly balance sheets and related accounting reports. Receives general direction from a professional superior of work performed with some independence in accordance with established accounting procedures, practices and standards. (IFRS/IAS)
Accountant I
To ensure that all accounting requirements of the contractual agreement for PTSC are maintained in an approved manner and that, records are maintained at acceptable levels at all times with respect to accuracy, completeness and authorizations.
STORES CLERK I
An incumbent at this level will perform routine manual and/or routine clerical functions in receiving, handling, storing and delivering stock. Work performance is in accordance with instructions and procedures received from the immediate supervisor.
DRIVER MESSENGER
Driver/Messenger provides services as both a Driver and Messenger to the assigned Division/Department. This includes delivering and receiving documents, conducting business on behalf of the Corporation as required and driving officials to and from appointments. The person must possess a valid Driver’s Permit and be able to work efficiently in order to meet deadlines.
ACCOUNTANT
To devise and implement the efficient administration and functioning of the various sections within the Finance and Accounts Department.
EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT
The Executive Assistant shall support and contribute to the effective administration of the Office of the General Manager within the Corporation which includes the General Manager, or Deputy General Managers. The Executive shall ensure the organisation’s administrative functions are performed independently and with competence and effectiveness.
