MANAGER – SALES & PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
JOB SUMMARY:
This position requires an individual to drive product development, sales, revenue generating activities and the creation of new revenue streams.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Works closely with the head of Marketing in creating new revenue streams.
- Conducts appropriate market research in conjunction with the planning and research department on competitive services and firms.
- Create presentations, including PowerPoint, and participates in sales and management meetings.
- Liaise with the contracted advertising agencies of the Corporation to promote products and services in the public domain.
- Manages events including trade shows, customer and partner events, industry events, sales training sessions and other corporate events.
- Deputizes for the head of marketing by representing him/her at company related functions and managing the Marketing and Communications Division in his/her absence.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
- Postgraduate qualifications in a related field will be considered an asset.
- At least five (5) years relevant experience as a Sales and Product Development Manager in a similar environment.
- Any combination of experience and academic qualifications from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
